The interiors were developed around the architecture rather than treated as a separate layer. Kitchens, staircases, wardrobes and timber panelling were all designed to sit naturally within the spaces, with the proportions, materials and detailing considered as part of each building as a whole.
The joinery was produced in our own Surrey workshop and installed by the same joiners who made it. This continuity between workshop and site allows details to be resolved carefully and ensures that the quality of the finished work is maintained through every stage of the process.
Managing the construction and interior fit-out as one programme also meant that the relationship between the building and its joinery could be properly coordinated, from the larger elements of the architecture through to the smaller details of the finished rooms.
It is the kind of project Castle Eaton Construction is built for: a complete house delivered from start to finish, with the construction, craftsmanship and interior joinery held to the same standard throughout.
